ok so i have you ever i had a child hood dream of getting your art work put on a skate board.
well mine just came true, words can not describe how stoked i am, get down with witchcraft
The Second run of boards are done by different artists again this time, including Paul Parker, Murdoch Stafford (Aus), Matt Glover and French. As usual there's no overal theme to them, just to be good graphics on great shapes and great wood. There's a good amount of Nun's, Goat Demons and the Angel of Death.
French (funeralfrench.blogspot.com) and Paul Parkers (www.atomicvoodoo.blogspot.com) boards are the 8.125" and 8.25" shapes, the idea for the graphics comes from the novel by Jame Herbert "The Shrine". Which is set in a town near Brighton, in which a young girl becomes possesed by the spirit of Witch who was a Nun and was burnt under a tree in the town of Banfield. You should really read the book.
Matt Glover's (www.myspace.com/mattyglover) board is the 8.5" shape and is a depiction of the Angel of Death and a wolf....well you need the Angel Death as a graphic right?
Murdoch Stafford's (murdochhardware.blogspot.com) board is the new shape added to this run at 8.75", super function but large. The graphic is a demon goat warrior..... what else do you expect?
Sin-Eater lives deep in the heart of Herefordshire's countryside. Here his fascination of animal forms grew & gave birth to his passions for the collecting of taxidermy & theory of evolution.A cynic of photoshop all of his artwork is created by hand. His desire is for Sin-eater to belong among the Albrecht Durer's. Detached from the contemporary Sin-eaters work is a call into the echoing chasms of the past.
